This is a voluntary program that parents can choose to have their children participate in. In this program, children are engaged through videos, stories, and activities that focus on managing and expressing emotions in a healthy manner. This program is for children in the fifth grade. There are 10 days worth of activities on this site. Children are encouraged to complete only one days worth of activities per week. That way the entire program will last 10 weeks. The video that goes along with day 4 does not work, but you can find the book, Wilma Jean The Worry Machine, by Julia Cook, on YouTube read aloud books. The link is below.
Parents can voluntarily choose to have their children watch one of the videos below each week. The 5th grade students may choose to participate in either of the Social Emotional Learning at Home options. Students are encouraged to watch the videos and then try to apply what they have learned to their own daily lives.
