Dr. Herfindahl has successful staged productions around the state, including productions on the Minnesota Centennial Showboat, the E.M. Pearson Theater at Concordia College, and numerous productions at Monticello High School.
Dr. Herfindahl has directed several Musical Theatre and Opera productions including full performances of; My Fair Lady, The Devil and Daniel Webster, Gianni Schicchi, Seussical, Newsies, and Guys and Dolls.
To his productions, Dr. Herfindahl brings a thoughtful and well prepared approach, that allows the actors to express themselves authentically and with great comfort. He approaches his productions as he would his choirs, with a team mindset and focuses on the community of the cast as a whole in the preparation of a work.
