Educator

Nathan Herfindahl

has over a decade of time dedicated to the field of education. He has taught in Public Charter Schools, as well as Public Schools. He has conducted High School Choirs, Community Choirs, Youth Choirs, and Orchestras. As a director, he has staged performances for Community Theatre, High School Musical and Opera productions, and MSHSL One Act Competitions. Dr. Herfindahl holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Minnesota Duluth, and a Doctorate of Music in Music Education from Liberty University.

For a 3 year term while teaching at the Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists, Dr. Herfindahl was a certified member of the Charter School Board.  This position allowed him insight into the inner workings of Public Charter School policy and school finance. 

Dr. Herfindahl has lectured on regular occasion at the University of Minnesota Duluth and presented Voice Masterclasses on numerous occasions. He is highly sought after for his engaging teaching and use of humor to help make those he is working with comfortable.

In addition, Dr. Herfindahl keeps an active private voice studio and his students are currently singing across the country. Former students are currently enrolled in vocal studies at the Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, the University of Minnesota Duluth, Concordia College, Lawrence Conservatory of Music, Saint Cloud State University, and St. Olaf College.
