Special Education Services

Monroe County Schools provides services for eligible students ages 3–21 in accordance with IDEA Part B. Services are individualized through an IEP and include specially designed instruction, related services, and supports in the least restrictive environment. Our goal is to ensure academic, functional, and post-secondary success.

Special Education Services are provided in:

• All five traditional school buildings

• Falcon Academy

• Virtual programming

• Homebound and home-schooled settings
