Before you start researching colleges, it is important that you get to know yourself. What do you value? What are your hobbies? What do you see yourself doing in the future? What type of lifestyle would you like to have? All these could help determine a career path.
Now that you have a better understanding of your likes, dislikes, values, and personality, researching colleges that best fit your personal, academics, and financial needs is an important part when creating your college list.

College Board is another great college search engine for seniors. Seniors can select from specific criteria, such as location, majors, size, and likelihood of financial aid need will be met.
College Navigator goes beyond a simple search engine. The National Center for Education Statistics provides data to help you create a list of good college match. This site includes statistics on admission, enrollment, cost, financial aid, majors, retention and graduation rates and much more! You can even do a side-by-side comparison of up to 4 colleges.
