7th Grade Elective
Bonjour! Starting with the class of 2016, the state of Michigan requires two world language credits for graduation. Knowledge of a second language not only enhances one’s opportunities in the job market in almost every field, but it also helps develop and reinforce skills that are essential to academic study. Statistics also show that students who study and learn a second language tend to score higher on standardized tests than their peers who do not study a second language. This course focuses on speaking French as well as learning many “fascinating French fun facts”, listening to popular French music, celebrating French holidays, and tasting French food. OH LA LA! At the end of the trimester, we have a fabulous French food feast! You will surprise your friends and family with how much you will know at the end of the trimester.
