Political, Social, Economic, Legal and Cultural Context

Attended required Mohonasen Board of Education meetings from 2017-2019 and attended every B.O.E. meeting since Jan 2020.  I have volunteered to be the Google Meet host, recorder, editor and publisher of the video recordings of our B.O.E. meetings on our district website. 

I work closely with building principals, academic administrators, Shannon, Laurel and Chris on budgets for technology. I also helped our administration team promote Mohon Cares when it originally launched.

I've built relationships with global companies such as Google to help our district receive the recognition for all of the hard work that we do in educational technology.  Mohonasen was selected to participate in a Google Alpha in 2020 and, as a result, they donated 50 high performing stylus enabled Chromebooks to our district.  Our goal is to become a Google for Education future reference district and continue to build partnerships with similar companies.
