Kaitlyn is such a sweet, kind, talented, and dedicated art student. She devoted a lot of extra time and attention to the design and implementation of this year's Impressions magazine, and her creativity is on full display. Last year Kaitlyn represented Mohonasen by working with the Carmen Fire Department to design their new Ladder Truck Duck Logo that will be revealed later this year, and was a huge success. Congratulations!

Science

Marisa is simply the hardest working student I've ever taught. I believe that she does have an immense inherent gift for Chemistry, but that ability wasn't immediately demonstrated. Marisa struggled at the beginning of the year, but she has worked tirelessly to take the reins on her academics and ensure that she found success in Chemistry. Marisa stays after school to review Chemistry almost every day, and she puts in a staggering amount of time and effort to study for each and every exam. Not only does Marisa put in the immense effort to improve her own understanding of Chemistry, she also is always willing to assist others with their preparation for the class - she has a unique talent for elevating her classmates. Marisa cares deeply about Chemistry, and her passion is radiant. Marisa even went as far to plan and conduct a Chemistry demonstration at the Science Fair this year as a way to be a "stewardess of Chemistry", since she wanted younger students to have something to look forward to when they get to the high school and are able to take Chemistry for themselves. Marisa wants to study Chemistry in college and purse a Chemistry career once she's older, which makes me very happy because she has certainly found her calling.
