What can be combined to maximise the intended meaning?
What materials could be combined?
Examples on how to combine subject matters to add a different/ deeper meaning below
Holding Hand Heart:
Heart (symbolises the organ that can be donated) + Hand reaching out (symbolises the peers supporting one another or 2 suitable donor and patient willing to help the patient live on)
1) Making a difference starting with me invites participants to envision the diverse roles individuals can play in organ donation and transplantation. These roles extend far beyond the literal act of donating an organ. For instance, an individual can (i) take on the responsibility of advocating for organ donation within their social circle; and (ii) initiate ground-up efforts that engage the broader community, forming a strong and multi-faceted pillar of support for patients with organ failure.
Ticking heart:
Heart (symbolises the organ that can be donated) + Pocket watch (symbolises the time and frustration passing slowly while waiting for a suitable organ donation)
(2) Making a difference that endures across time invites participants to consider the short (several days/weeks), medium (several months) and long-term (several years) personal, familial and/or societal impact of organ donation.

TRIGGER QUESTIONS
Use these questions to help you create creative and interesting combinations! (Think about the symbolism you have drawn!)
Can you change your sujbject item in some way? (consider the attributes)
In what ways can it be embellished, exaggerated, or become more attention grabbing?
Example of how different modifications can give new, different and deeper meaning below:
Heart sliced + flowers blossoming, may symbolise how a damaged heart can be given new life, like a flower that blossomed if a patient receives a heart transplant
Black Heart, may symbolise how a damaged heart could potentially look like. The change in colour also shows the severity of a damage heart and allows viewers to imagine the worst if the patient did not receive a heart donation in time
Picking up the pieces, may symbolise the turmoil and emotions a patient feels while waiting for someone to save their lives. Their heart literally breaking apart while they imagine the worst to come.
An Ice Cream Heart, may symbolise how time is running out, just like icecream under the sun or a flaming candle.
Shot through, may symbolise the pain and struggle a patient feels like an arrow shooting through the heart. The stretched out heart represents the long ordeal and torture before the heart breaks symbolising a breaking point.
Hole in my chest, may symbolise a void a patient might feel from within. Longing for a new life and a different life.
