OVERVIEW

The themes for 2024's Design Competition are 'Making a difference...'

(1) ... starting with me invites participants to envision the diverse roles individuals can play in organ donation and transplantation. These roles extend far beyond the literal act of donating an organ. For instance, an individual can (i) take on the responsibility of advocating for organ donation within their social circle; and (ii) initiate ground-up efforts that engage the broader community, forming a strong and multi-faceted pillar of support for patients with organ failure.

(2) ...that endures across time invites participants to consider the short (several days/weeks), medium (several months) and long-term (several years) personal, familial and/or societal impact of organ donation.

Research is observing, investigating, and studying materials and sources to establish facts and reach new conclusions.

WHAT IS A MIND MAP?

A mind map is a diagram that displays information visually.

The subject of a mind map is always located in the center of the map.

From there, related ideas and keywords branch our in all directions, presenting your ideas in a uniquely visual way.

Choose whether you want to create a digital or traditional mindmap

For digital:

Under Slide 4 of your slides template, fill in the grey boxes on the mindmap
Feel free to change the colors and the font of the mindmap

For traditional:

Refer to the mindmap template below to draw your mindmap in your sketchboook
Use different colored markers/colored pencils to design your mindmap!
Photograph and upload your completed mindmap on the slides

To meet the final deadline, you need to ensure Task 2 is completed by T2W2.
