MIMS password Policy
Password must be 8 to 24 characters
Mixture of upper and lower case letters and alphanumeric
Must not be one of the three previous passwords
Must not match or contain any part of your name
*If after you have tried the steps and are still unable to reset your password,
please contact ICT for assistance.
After you will received an email from DMA@temasekjc.moe.edu.sg with the ONE TIME PASSWORD (OTP)
Please adhere to these steps while updating your password:
Step 1: Go to google.com and add a new account
Step 2: Type in your Student iCON mail (Can be found via maTrix2.0 under "My Profile")
Step 3: Type in your Student iCON mail again
Step 4: Enter the ONE TIME PASSWORD (OTP)
Step 5: Update your password after receiving a prompt (12 characters with symbols, upper and lowercase, it should not contain your name, birthdate, NRIC, and be your previous 3 utilised passwords)
Step 6: Done [You may now subsequently use this password to log in to your SWN@SSOE Wi-Fi, PDLP/MIMS, and Student iCON email]

Log a ticket number with vendor services centre;
Students to bring the device to vendor services centre;(PREFERRED)

The nearest MRT station is Bendemeer Station (Downtown Line). It’s about a 5-minute walk to CTHub from the station.

CTHub offers parking facilities. Enter via Kallang Avenue, and parking is available at an hourly rate.

On this page, find Windows Specifications, and look for your Serial number.
You can find the serial number near the center ir to the side of it's spine (the area that attaches to your surface). The serial number is a string of numbers that looks something like this:

Parent/student will need to log an incident report with Microsoft support.
To check the status of a warranty - you can visit https://mybusinessservice.surface.com and chick "check Warranty".
Please see attached file for more details on the steps. Microsoft support will provide the cost for the out of warranty paid replacement if it not eligible for the warranty replacement.
If it not eligible for the warranty replacement, kindly complete and return the attached Claim Form (PDF Format only, no external links) via email [laptop@ins-solutions.com.sg].
Obtain a repair quotation from an Authorized Service Centre (Microsoft Support in this case)(with clear indication of what is to be repaired e.g. LCD/Speaker et... & serial no. of laptop) is also required for the claim submission.
Once the payment is made, please provide a repair tax invoice as proof of payment.
*For the policy/cert no. the student should have received an email softcopy from the insurer. If not sure, you can leave it blank, the insurer will be able to trace the record base on the student details and serial number of the device. When filling out the incident section of the form, please ensure that the explanations provided are clear and comprehensive.
Please keep all correspondences related to this claim with Microsoft.

Claim Process Overview:
Submit the Claim Form, Repair Quotations, and Tax Invoice to Ins-Solutions Agency.
Allow seven (7) working days for claims approval.
You will receive a Discharge Voucher and Direct Credit Form for acknowledgement.
Claim disbursement will be processed accordingly.
Students may borrow a laptop from the school for their school work or valid reasons, subject to availability and with parental and CT consent.
Parents can simply submit an Online Form, and the ICT department will process the request. However, please refrain from making last-minute loan requests.
School are not allowed to remove DMA from PLD and DMA will only be remove after student graduate from IP4.

School have submit a software list to DMA vendor and all the software is automatics push down to all PLD devices.
Student just need to go company portal and install the required software for lesson.
Please keep the devices original packaging box for a least 7 days in case of any 1-to-1 exchange.
Insurance coverage is for the main devices only and does not cover accessories.
Yes, parent are able to install their own parent control software to PLD devices but parent need to make sure their child's PLD device are on Option A or B.
If there is the parent control software have any conflict with DMA system, Vendor is not responsible
We would recommend you to contact the services centre, if there is still warranty coverage. as we can do only a simple diagnostic/troubleshooting on the devices.
