My student has forgotten his/her password or needs to reset his/her password. What can I do?
The student can go reset their own password by calling the school SLS helpdesk or click on 'Forget Password' and an email with the password reset link will be sent to the email address indicated in SLS.
Or you can reset it for him/her by using your own account if he/she is in your class. Note: You cannot reset the passwords of students in your groups. Click here to learn how. (You will be prompted to sign into SLS.)
I cannot find my students in my class. What can I do?
Classes are auto-created through subject class and teaching group information imported from School Cockpit.
If you are unable to see the SLS classes, please check with the School Cockpit administrator if you have been assigned classes/teaching groups in School Cockpit.
If these students are not in your subject class and teaching group (ie. can be from LSP or from your form class), you can create a group and then select students to add in that group.
Getting SLS URLs
Click here to see how you can get a specific SLS URL for your students so they can go to the assignment straightaway (and skipping the homepage).
