Tech Thursdays

Tech Thursday is a monthly peer-led initiative held during the last week of every month during the Form Teacher Guidance Period (FTGP).

The Goal: To boost student digital literacy and confidence through peer-to-peer learning, while allowing Form Teachers to maintain their Teacher-Student Conferencing (TSC) schedule.
The class ICT Representative leads a brief session sharing practical "Tech Tips" with their classmates. All materials and presentation slides are pre-provided to the ICT Rep via a dedicated Google Classroom. If the ICT Rep is absent on Thursday, the session is rescheduled to the next available suitable day.

NotebookLM for Sec 3 and above

From Monday, 30 March 2026, students from Secondary 3 and above will be able to access it through the NotebookLM website (https://notebooklm.google) using their Student iCON accounts.

This SLS module [go.gov.sg/notebooklmforstudents] will guide students to effectively learn with Notebook LM. Students are strongly encouraged to complete it before using NotebookLM.

Proper use of MIMS accounts

Student MIMS accounts (students.edu.sg) should be used only for educational purposes such as accessing learning materials, completing assignments, participating in online lessons, and communicating with teachers on academic matters.

Student MIMS accounts must not be used for:

Registering for social media platforms or entertainment websites
Online gaming or gaming platforms
Online shopping or commercial transactions
Personal communications on online chat platforms unrelated to school activities
Any non-educational websites or applications

MIMS accounts (students.edu.sg) are provided to support teaching, learning and official school activities. These guidelines help keep our online learning space safe and focused on education. Please remember that responsible digital citizenship begins with using our educational technology tools appropriately and for their intended purposes. This protection settings have been enforced from 30 Mar 2026.
