• Edupass is MOE’s next-generation login system designed to make access to MOE applications more secure, simpler, and faster.

• Developed in-house by MOE DXD, Edupass will replace the current MIMS progressively.

• While Edupass brings a whole new login experience to you, you will continue to use the same account and password. No new credentials are required.

• Students will be guided through setting up Microsoft Authenticator on their school Personal Learning Devices (PLDs) during Edupass Onboarding. 

• Setting up the app on personal devices is optional (but encouraged), but supported on up to 5 devices per student.

Starting 3 December 2026, you can access SLS using either Edupass or your SLS username.

• Edupass username and password: This is the previous MIMS username and password.

• SLS username: This will change from the current format to Edupass username. SLS password remains.

• Passwords: Edupass password and SLS password are separate.

• DMA Required: All PLDs must have an active Device Management Application (DMA) installed before being used in lessons.

• Safe Learning: The DMA is designed to ensure a safe, distraction-free environment. Do not attempt to bypass or tamper with the DMA.

• Approved Devices: In NV, only DMA-installed Chromebooks are authorised for learning.

• Other Devices: Any device without the DMA (such as iPads, MacBooks, or Windows laptops) will be subject to the school's existing smartphone policy.
