Activity 1: The 'All About Me' Cheatsheet
Draw a table like the one below.
In the "Past" column, list
the things and people who have been an inspiration to you.
experiences that have impacted you
your role models
In the present column, list
your qualifications
your skills
your interests (especially related to the course)
your knowledge of the course/school
In the "Future" column, list
your goals
further studies you see yourself doing
careers you want to explore
personal aspirations and ambitions
future trends you see in the industry related to this course
Activity 2: Create a first draft of your write-up in the box below using the 3 steps:
Start with "How interest in chosen field was developed"
State evidence of interest/passion
Conclude by giving dreams/ aspirations/ inventions/ improvements

Activity 3: Finally, get someone to give you feedback and refine your essay.
You can ask any of the following people
Your parents or other older family members who have experience.
Your teachers, both those who teach you and those who are involved in your level, like your year head.
Based on their feedback, rewrite your essay.
Be prepared to write, and rewrite this essay many times so that when it's ready, it is a very clear description of who you are and why you are absolutely suited for this course!
