The Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) is conducted annually by the Ministry of Education (MOE) to allow Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level certificate holders to apply for admission to courses offered by Junior Colleges (JC), Millennia Institute (MI), Polytechnics (Poly) and Institute of Technical Education (ITE).
Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) is conducted in January after the release of the O-Level results.
You can register online via the JAE Internet System (JAE-IS).
The JAE-IS will be opened for 5 calendar days starting from the O-Level results release day.
The following candidates are eligible for the Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE):
Singapore Citizens (SC) and Permanent Residents (PR) with O-Level examination results from any year.
International students studying in a government school, government-aided school, or an independent school in Singapore with results from the most recent O-Level examination.
You are not eligible for the JAE if you have been successfully admitted to a school through the following exercises:

Gross aggregate score refers to your aggregate score before bonus points.
Net aggregate score refers to your aggregate score after deducting bonus points.
For admission to specific courses in these institutions, you will have to meet the minimum entry requirements of the courses.
Bonus points are given for CCA grades, language grades and school affiliation in the computation of net aggregate scores.
Bonus points are used to determine the net aggregate scores of students during posting.
You can get a maximum of 4 bonus points from a combination of any of the following areas:
You can get an additional 2 bonus points if you are successfully selected for the Chinese, Malay or Tamil Language Elective Programmes.
