Northland Secondary School’s Basketball Club nurtures aspiring athletes in their pursuit of sporting and character excellence while deepening their passion for the game. Our four-year development programme equips students with strong individual fundamentals and effective team tactics, enabling them to realise their full potential through competitive platforms such as the National School Games (NSG). Beyond the court, our athletes broaden their basketball knowledge through specialised workshops and develop important values and leadership skills by planning and organising activities and camps for their peers. Through these varied experiences, they grow not only as skilled players but also as confident, disciplined and collaborative individuals.
Northland Secondary School’s Floorball CCA nurtures proactive student-athletes who pursue excellence both on and off the court. Guided by dedicated teachers and experienced coaches, students undergo structured training that develops their stamina, strength, agility and sport-specific skills, preparing them for competitive platforms such as the National School Games (NSG).
Teamwork lies at the heart of the CCA. Through purposeful team-building experiences, students strengthen communication, trust and mutual support while forming meaningful friendships. In the process, they develop valuable interpersonal skills that extend well beyond the sporting arena.
Leadership development is also central to the programme. Student leaders contribute actively to team decisions, while senior members mentor their juniors and foster a culture of collaboration, responsibility and continuous growth. They also lead team-bonding activities and community engagement initiatives, reinforcing the values of service and social responsibility.
At Northland Floorball, we develop confident, resilient and compassionate individuals who exemplify sportsmanship, leadership and excellence in all that they do.
Northland Hockey continues its proud tradition of sporting excellence by developing players who demonstrate grit, teamwork and ambition, both on and off the pitch. In 2026, our Girls’ Under-19 Team emerged third runners-up in Division 3 of the National Junior League, while our B Division Boys secured runners-up in League 2 of the National School Games. The year also marked two historic firsts as we fielded cross-school combined C Division teams at the National School Games, partnering St. Joseph’s Institution for the Boys’ team and Woodlands Ring Secondary School for the Girls’ team. These achievements reflect the dedication of our players and coaches, and we look forward to building on this strong foundation in the years ahead.
At Northland Secondary School, Netball is more than a sport—it is a journey of growth, friendship and resilience. Through every training session, match and competition, our netballers develop teamwork, discipline and perseverance while strengthening their skills and confidence. This year, the team trained diligently for the National School Games, embracing every opportunity to compete, learn and improve, with each pass, interception and goal reflecting their determination and steadfast support for one another. Beyond the court, our players have grown into confident and responsible individuals who lead by example and face challenges together. While victories are celebrated, friendships forged, resilience strengthened and memories created that truly define the Northland Netball experience.
Northland Wushu empowers students to develop strength, agility and confidence while mastering the artistry of Chinese martial arts. Through dynamic training in bare-hand, weapon and performance routines, members cultivate discipline, resilience and perseverance—qualities that extend well beyond the training arena. Our Wushu exponents proudly represent the school in competitions, cultural celebrations, community outreach initiatives and school performances, showcasing their precision, passion and sportsmanship. Every training session challenges them to push their limits, support one another and grow as leaders with integrity. Whether competing for a place on the podium, performing on stage or taking on a new challenge, members forge lasting friendships, fulfil their potential and strengthen their character through Wushu.
