What is SAY?

Students’ Autonomous Yarn (SAY)

It is a newly-launched initiative by the Partnership Committee that aims to provide our students with a much higher level of involvement in designing meaningful projects to benefit our community. Students are given the opportunity to share their intended project, and determine how these projects can be carried out in their capacity as students. In 2022, we have expanded the scope to include school-based projects as well.

What does Students' Autonomous Yarn mean?

Autonomous means having the freedom to make decisions that can affect the outcomes in our projects. Yarn is the ball of string commonly used in knitting. Under this initiative, "Yarn" would refer to the ideas from Northlanders that we weave together to produce a meaningful project.
