The Quiz Competition tested participants’ understanding of issues related to the main theme and sub-themes of the 10th NISC, covering areas such as food security, sustainability, environmental challenges, human health, technology and responsible choices.
The Quiz Competition tested participants’ understanding of issues related to the main theme and sub-themes of the 10th NISC, covering areas such as food security, sustainability, environmental challenges, human health, technology and responsible choices.
Working in pairs, competitors tackled 15 multiple-choice questions across three levels of difficulty: easy, intermediate and hard. With only 30 seconds to answer each question, teams had to quickly discuss their options, reach a shared decision and record one answer before their answer sheet was collected.

After each question, the correct answer was revealed and explained before competitors moved on to the next challenge. No electronic devices, notes, books or assistance from teachers were permitted during the competition.

“During the quiz competition, I was able to practise my problem-solving and adaptability skills. There were some questions that we had not prepared for, but we tried our best and eventually did reasonably well.
