JP's very first STEAM Day 2023 marks the maiden collaboration between the STEM Committee and the Arts & Social Sciences Interest Programme. This was inspired by the fact that STEAM Education, given its approach to guiding inquiry and critical thinking using multiple bodies of knowledge that span disciplines, is increasingly gaining traction.
As such, the key idea is for the general student population in the college to have the opportunity at experiential learning through the interactive elements at each booth, which will showcase the application of a scientific concept or research inquiry in Arts and Social Sciences-related issues in an easy-to-understand manner.
