Hello all, the N(A) Full Geography NLC was started in 2021 and sadly, we ended our journey in 2021 too. This NLC was to provide teaching and learning support to schools that were offering N(A) Full Geography as well as schools that were interested to offer N(A) Full Geography to their students in the future. The chief facilitator was Mdm Lim Puay Yin and supported by Sing Ee from CPDD and Shu-Wei from NJC.

Highlights
The NLC team had gleaned nuggets of brilliant ideas from the sharing sessions generously presented by the N(A) Full Geography Teams from PLMGS and ACS (Barker). We also benefit from many insightful sharing from Puay Yin and two apt readings named above. It is a challenge for teachers to sift out time to read and this NLC was a good platform to dive into readings that helped us to reflect on whether we are teaching "good geography".
The two readings are How do you know if your Geography is fit for purpose? by Charles Rawding and What it takes to teach (2012) by Diana Laurillard.
Aspirations for the future
Hopefully more students will be interested to include Full Geography (NA) as part of their secondary school life. We welcome any colleague to revive this NLC as it would mean there are students interested to read N(A) Full Geography.
