Our objectives are two-fold: student-agency in the first objective and teacher/curriculum innovation in the second:
Create authentic tech-enabled learning experiences to engage the students in deeper learning by
providing opportunities for students to collaborate and co-construct learning through IBL and,
equipping students with geographical skills and values so as to be ready as a lifelong learner.
Deepen teachers’ practice by focusing on theory-informed innovation in curricular design, approach and resource building, so as to foster a culture of teacher ownership teacher leadership (TOTL).
The outcome is to support teachers in the West Zone schools in the planning and enactment of the lower secondary curriculum. It is also a platform for networking amongst Geography Teachers in the West Zone.
