B. Safe and Responsible Use 绿色上网,安全通畅
The key process to run our Cyberwellness work is to “Sense, Think & Act”, preparing our students to self-manage their behaviour in cyberspace.

Since 2019, our school started to conduct more workshops and talks on cyberwellness issues to equip our parents with important knowledge on supporting their children in practising good cyber-habits at home. Useful online resources are also made available to parents in the Parents’ Gateway, school website and termly Parents’ Newsletters. This year, our school launched this school microsite to further educate our parents the current cyber-risks our children are facing, and where to locate the related community resources for help with cyber-addiction.
As part of the students' Character & Citizenship Education (CCE) lessons, all Sec 1-4 students have 4 hours of in-class Cyber Wellness lessons conducted by their Form Teachers. During the explicit teaching of these lessons, sufficient time is provided for case studies, class discussions and group activities relating to cyber wellness issues such as cyber security, relating well to others online, etc.
Working with students, the school set up the Cyber Wellness Team in 2019 involving some of the Class Leaders to be trained to be Cyber Wellness Ambassadors (CWA) with more teachers deployed to support their initiatives in school. As we see the growing importance of Cyber Wellness education in school, the student leadership teachers started grooming a new group of student leaders named as “Peer Support Leaders” (PSL) to lead CW work with more peer-to-peer initiatives. In 2020 this year, all PSLs have completed their CW training and formally appointed to be our CWAs advocating good cyber-habits and encouraging their peers to make Cyber Wellness pledges during the CW Advocacy Week.
