Problem: It is difficult to find a parking space on the day of student registration
Student registration day is a very meaningful day for every new matriculation college student. Even so, there are often traffic jams caused by the difficulty of each student vehicle to find a parking space. Therefore, a parking management system needs to be established to solve this problem. The system is also expected to assist the committees involved in ensuring that traffic congestion caused by difficulties in finding parking spaces can be resolved
Problem: High demand for online food orders
The most significant benefit of online ordering is the increase in revenue. Restaurants that offer online ordering get 32% more orders, on average, than those who only accept orders placed over the phone or in-store. Not only that, but ticket sizes on online orders also average 30% higher.
For that purpose, the restaurant needs to maintain the catalog for the list of food and beverage items that it provides.
Apart from providing food facilities at their own premises, the restaurant takes orders online through their site.
Orders through the phones are also being entertained.
To deliver the orders, the restaurant needs to have delivery boys. Each delivery boy is assigned to a specific area code. The delivery boy cannot deliver outside the area which is not assigned to the delivery boy (for every delivery boy there can be a single area assigned to that delivery boy).
The customer record is maintained so that premium customers can be awarded discounts
Problem: Manually storing product will lead to:
losing track of (misplacing) items in kedai koperasi
incorrect counting items
incorrect profit report
Each matriculation college is equipped with a kedai koperasi. With this small mart, students can live life on campus comfortably. A variety of necessities are sold here, ranging from stationery to laundry and personal care needs. What is problematic is that there is an urgent need or a critical need that cannot be obtained in kedai koperasi. This happens when the quantity of stock is insufficient, the goods arrive late from the supplier and the goods are exhausted and not refilled in a long time. This problem often occurs because kedai koperasi still use a manual / paper method to manage the shop. Many disadvantages that arise if using manual methods, as mentioned above. In addition, kedai koperasi’s owners will manually update stock levels and inventory locations. This means that when a product comes and goes, the store owner will update the list of items with a piece of paper and empty hands. Therefore, a new approach needs to be taken so that the problem does not recur and become worse.
Problem: Student parcels are missing in college
Online shopping has become one of the favourite channels among matriculation students in spending their money nowadays which includes most of the Malaysian community especially during the current pandemic, CoronaVirus (COVID-19). Everyone agrees that this activity could reduce the time constraints where some money could be saved with a possible discount offered due to the certain event. It also allowed them as a customer to search for the best and desired products and services with better prices, better options and better offers for various choices.
Due to that, the increase in online shopping among these students has also led to the need for systematic parcel management to ensure that the goods are not lost.
