"In my opinion, the flipped classroom approach allows pupils more time to apply language skills and subject content during lessons. By shifting direct teacher instruction to pre-class tasks—using digital platforms such as YouTube, Padlet, and Kahoot—classroom time can be dedicated to active learning. This enables teachers to plan more challenging Higher Order Thinking (HOT) tasks, giving pupils more opportunities to 'do' rather than passively listen. While this approach is feasible for my classroom, selecting an effective delivery platform for pre-lesson materials will be key to implementing it successfully when I return to school."
