As a benefit of enrollment, all Mentorship Program mentees receive:
Lifetime subscriptions to our premium tech tools including: ScreenPal, Screencastify Pro, TeachFlows, and EdPuzzle.
Continued access to the Moodle course platform to refer back to
Ongoing opportunities to complete the program at their pace without expiry
Invitations to webinars, our newsletter, and community resources such as Educator Commons and our Facebook group.
Mentees may forget to share access to links in their submissions. 💡 Please share this how-to guide on sharing accessible links to support your mentees.
You can share the forgot password link with your mentee. Your mentee’s login email is the email listed in your mentor activity hub.
When students don’t have access to devices, mentees should be encouraged to:
Set up a video-watching station. Remember that students will only spend a portion of each class watching videos, so they can rotate through this station.
Let students watch videos on their phones (if possible).
Purchase a few headphone splitters so students can watch in groups.
Don't worry! There is no need to push a particular tech tool or program on mentees. There are plenty of programs out there and we aim to support mentees to do the best they can, regardless of tools.
If a mentee does not have any video recording or enhancing software, we can provide access to Edpuzzle, ScreenPal, TeachFlow, and Screencastify.
Check out the resources under "Submissions" ("Turning in a Submission") to support your mentee with successfully sharing a linked document in Moodle and formally submitting each submission.
