ThinkAchieve Events

My ThinkAchieve Experience

When I first arrived to UTC I learned about ThinkAchieve during orientation. I was very excited to try new things and to get out of my comfort zone. If I remember correctly, it was Bengt Carlson himself who was speaking to incoming freshman about the opportunity that the ThinkAchieve program had to offer. Since I was in the mindset of doing anything I normally wouldn't do prior to college I signed myself up through ThinkAchieve to get the weekly updates on the events UTC had to offer. I payed no mind to the benefits such as priority registration or what I would get from it at the time. As a matter of fact, I was not even aware of the priority registration until way later. All that interested me was hearing about all the unique things the school and the program had to offer. I wanted to experience as much as possible. I was so adamant about this that I went to more, ThinkAchieve credited, events than was even necessary for the semester rewards. Eventually, after receiving my first award, arguably without even trying, I was hooked. You can see all 20 of the events I was credited for reflecting below. My community engagements and ThinkAchieve accredited course are shown in other sections of my e-portfolio.
