Hello everyone! My name is Miguel Mariscal and I am proud to say I was a participant in the ThinkAchieve program here at UTC. I'm currently a senior (or super senior) graduating May 2021 with a Bachelor's in Mechanical engineering. Despite the stigmas that come with those in similar majors, I consider myself a very open-minded and social person.

While at UTC I have had the pleasure to be a part of various organizations and events that I will mention in more detail in the "" section of this e-portfolio. Thanks to the lovely scenery and recreations available here in Chattanooga, I was able to be more engaged in outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, swimming , and rock climbing. I was also fortunate to accumulate a whole variety of new friends including fellow students, professors, and advisors.

I currently am an Intern research assistant for a professor in the Engineering Management Department. I'm primarily working on industrial robots, 3D designing and 3D printing different parts and researching different areas of the field of study that my professor undergoes. I have already received an offer as a manufacturing intern at a company here in Chattanooga called Nordson Medical. That is where I plan to work in the mean time after graduation. I hope to one day be involved in the biomechatronic or biomedical industry of engineering.
