CONSIDERATIONS

Things to consider when settling in and looking for a place to live:

• Check and smell for mold. KL can be a humid climate and you want to make sure you are allergy free in your new home.

• All apartments in Mont'Kiara are air-conditioned, but double-check to make sure the servicing has been done correctly.

• Check that all water heaters are working and not tripping the lights.

• Smaller apartments may not come with ovens. If this is important to you, then you may want to shop around a little.

• Check out the facilities and make sure they suit your needs. Many places have great gyms and other recreational facilities. Swimming pools are the most commonly used recreational facility, so make sure it suits your needs.

• If you do intend on buying a car, make sure you have parking in the building.

• Some apartments don't allow pets, while others do. This is something to be aware of if you are bringing a pet or considering getting a pet.
