A Sustainable Campus that Supports a Diverse Learning Community
M'KIS is situated in heart of a picturesque and thriving suburb known as Mont Kiara. The M'KIS campus serves our school community with facilities that are accessible, updated, and modern.
Parents and teachers consistently describe the community feel of M'KIS as one of the school's best attributes. There is a welcoming atmosphere throughout the campus, and administrators and staff are always interacting with families during morning drop-off and pick-up times.
M'KIS has dedicated wings for our Pre-K, Elementary, and Middle and High school programs. Our class sizes are deliberately kept small in order to ensure there is optimum teacher-student interaction. Over the last few years, we have made a variety of improvements to our campus, including expanding the MYP Product Design Lab, renovating the Elementary, Middle, and High School Music Rooms, adding a new Reading Resource Room in the Library Media Center, expanding our Fitness Room to include the latest cardio and exercise equipment, adding a futsal court and tennis courts, upgrading the Middle and High School Computer Lab, and much more.
With a focus on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math), M'KIS is renewing efforts to become a leader in STEAM implementation. We now have several facilities and programs dedicated to our STEAM efforts. We have also invested in our Visual and Performing Arts program, with investments in a theater, excellent music and performing facilities and visual art rooms complete with specialist art equipment. We are also expanding our sports programs and activities for the students.

M’KIS has a total of four music rooms throughout the school for Pre-K to Grade 12. Music plays a big role in life at M’KIS.

Our climbing wall is used for PE classes and as an after school activity. M’KIS has two climbing walls, this being most challenging.

Our upper courtyard is used throughout the year for PE, celebrations and recess play. Leafy tress and a new shade roof provide relief from the Malaysian heat.

M'KIS has three well-equipped art rooms for Middle, High and Elementary School. Students produce festive decorations to large-scale canvas masterpieces.

M'KIS implemented Product Design as part of the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP). The Product Design Lab was purpose-built for the program.

M'KIS has a dedicated Admissions Office to welcome all new families to the school. Situated at the front of the school, it also houses other Administrative offices.
