LIFE Blessings (Fin.)

LIFE pantry packs foods for hungry students who might not have anything to eat during the weekend. Their fund was running short. So Mitchell Presbyterian Church stepped in and donated $1,000 for Hatfield Elementary School and another $1,000 for Burris Elementary School. We are happy to feed our local kids.

CamFed is short for CAMpaign for FEmale EDucation, and is an non-profit organisation investing in girls and women in the poorest rural communities in sub-Saharan Africa, where girls face acute disadvantage, and where their empowerment is now transforming communities. Our goal is to raise $1,500.

Many Africans are dying because they don't have the access to clean water. Mitchell Presbyterian Church finished its fundraising project in 2018 summer to install a clean water well in an African village through the Presbyterian Mission Agency. The goal was to raise $1,500 which is the exact cost of one water well, but we raised over $1,700.
