AED

Mitchell Presbyterian Church is equipped with Zoll AED Plus for the emergency.

AED stands for Automated External Defibrillator, which is a portable electronic device that automatically diagnoses the life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias of ventricular fibrillation and pulseless ventricular tachycardia, and is able to treat them through defibrillation, the application of electricity which stops the arrhythmia, allowing the heart to re-establish an effective rhythm.

It is located in the fellowship hall at the corner of the door to the main entrance (and to the sanctuary). It is centrally located and can be easily found which gives best access from anywhere of the church property and building.
