Ahead of next half term the children had a brief introduction to Scratch. They identified 'sprites' and backdrops' on Scratch. They also got to recognise the codes as blocks. The children spent some time programming their 'sprites' and exploring the different backdrops.
Following on from the last lesson looking at branching databases the children were given a series of pictures and questions. They had to use these to create their very own branching databases based on different attributes. For example, we had 'does it fly?', 'does it have a horn?' and 'does it walk on four legs?'.
