Year 3
Year 3
During this lesson we recapped what digital devices are and began to learn about inputs, processed and outputs.
We had to create and follow our own processes.
Inputs are when you give information to a computer like clicking a button or by typing on the keyboard.
Process is the computer following the set of instructions (program) to change the input to the output.
Outputs are what comes out of a device after the process happens like music turning on or what you see on a screen.
During this lesson we learnt more about inputs, processes and outputs. We then designed our own digital devices that had inputs that told the device what to do in order to get a desired output.
Today we applied our understanding of inputs, processes and outputs by using them to create a piece of work in using both non digital tools and digital tools. We decided to make Christmas Cards.
Afterwards we thought about the pros and the cons of each method as well as how they were similar and different.
