Your Work Readiness Instructor will refer you to this website:
to watch videos that accompany lessons
assign homework
provide links to relevant on-line content
track attendance
A Virtual Classroom is essentially a class - but, it's on-line! Treat the Virtual Classroom like you would any class. The Work Readiness class will be offered 2 days a week, for one hour. This is an opportunity to connect with your Instructor and peers; have discussions, watch relevant videos, and keep up to date on homework assignments.
Your Instructor will do their best to cover material in the virtual classroom, but if you feel like you require additional time, don't worry! Your Instructor can also set one on one virtual appointments with you. To let them know that you require assistance, just send them an email or ask to set up an appointment during class. Make sure to provide appointment times that work for you.
We are all spending A LOT more time at home these days. It's understandable that you may want to get a head start on your assignments for the week and feel like your time at home is productive. Good for you! You are welcome to skip ahead to other class modules. Keep in mind...your instructor may not cover EVERY module on this website, or may pull in other assignments not present. It is best to communicate with your Instructor ahead of time and let them know what assignments you intend to complete.
