The Mission Consolidated Independent School District (MCISD) Transportation Department’s goal is to provide the students and district staff with the safest, most efficient, and most caring transportation services emphasizing important safety efficiencies.
Mission CISD travels over 729,000 miles with route-related and extra-curricular services for regular programs and over 280,641 for Special Needs programs.

Students must be at the designated stop 5-10 minutes before the bus arrives.
The bus has a 10-minute window due to traffic, road conditions and weather.
Students must be at least 15-feet away from a corner bus stop for their safety.
Drivers must cross all Mission CISD students on a public roadway.
Students who must cross the street to board the bus must wait for the bus driver to get off the bus and stop traffic.

Consequences are minimums. Administrators reserve the right to extend a consequence depending on severity.
The table linked below has been produced to help administrators apply equitable sentences for similar actions. Consequences for third occurrences for TIER I infractions will extend to two (2) weeks and school year suspension there-after.

The state law allows restitution for damages incurred by mischievous or malicious acts. If fees are not paid, suspension of all bus privileges will be administered.
Note: Investigation and repair charges may include but are not limited to office personnel, body shop, labor, materials, loss of vehicle use, and/or shipping charges.
