The Tri-M® Music Honor Society is an international honor society for high school students sponsored by the National Association for Music Education (NAfME). This program recognizes students for their academic and musical achievements, rewards them for their accomplishments and service activities, and inspires other students to excel at music and leadership.

Membership application to the Milton High School Chapter of Tri-M® is open to all MHS sophomores, juniors and seniors who meet the following criteria:

• Participates in a year-round, in-school performing ensemble

• Maintains a grade of A- or higher in the ensemble class, and an overall grade point average of 3.0

• Has auditioned for a local, regional, or state festival in the current year

• Demonstrates strong character related to service, leadership, and cooperation

We wish to thank our Tri-M Advisor, Ms. Dawn Sykes for her work each year with the members of the Tri-M Music Honor Society, and her coordination of the selection process for new inductees.
