Springtime at Milton High School has a certain excitement to it. The sun shines earlier in the morning, giving extra energy to our Students and Staff, and the halls seem to come alive. Classrooms buzz with the extra efforts of students and teachers as they prepare for MCAS testing, AP Exams and Finals. The Guidance Office is alive with the excitement and nervous energy of College Decisions. The fields are full in the afternoons with our teams, wearing Red and White, proudly representing our school in the Bay State Conference. The Main Office is busy with preparations for the Prom and Graduation ceremony. And the stage is alive every night with musical performances, talent shows, drama productions, and of course, annual Awards Nights.

The COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent school closure has taken the air out of springtime at MHS, and sadly, the vast majority of these events and activities will not take place this year. We feel for our students, especially our seniors, who are dealing with the reality of missing out on the traditional close of a school year, and all of the excitement that comes with it. We press on by trying to continue the Milton High School experience remotely, but we understand that the world around us looks so different today than ever before, and there is only so much we can hope to replicate behind our computer screens.

Our priority remains the health and wellbeing of our extended Wildcat Family, while doing our best to provide an education and a sense of normalcy. The most amazing part of living through this pandemic has been that despite the circumstances, our Milton High School Students continue to achieve, persist, and make our community proud! We are disappointed that we are not able to shake your hands, award certificates and plaques, and hear the inspiring words of presenters at our numerous Spring Awards Nights, but we are so proud to highlight these students' accomplishments here, for the time being.

We hope that our community will take some time to peruse the pages here and read about our students' many achievements, both in school and community-wide. We couldn't be more proud of our Wildcats, and we cannot wait to return to our beautiful campus with soon soon.
