The Hermes Horizon Newspaper has not had a big recent update. But there is new information here and there on our website. If the page has not been updated, at the top of the page it will say, *NOT UPDATED*. We are currently working on a new edition! This edition will be published on paper and be combined with Millis High Schools Crimson Post, and Clyde F. Browns Paw Post. We are planning on publishing this edition in May. Stay Tuned!
You may be looking at the name of our newspaper and wonder, "Why is the name Hermes [her-me-s] Horizon?" Hermes, a name in which a student in the club suggested, is the Greek God of messaging. After giving it a lot of thought we unanimously decided it would be perfect for our official name to incorporate the name Hermes.
Hermes Horizon is a Newspaper written by Middle School students in Millis. The club is run by Mr. Carter, who is a Librarian here at MMS and Mrs. Robinson, who is a 6th Grade ELA teacher here at MMS.
The students of MMS were given the opportunity to join the club, while many joined only a few passionate enough remained. Throughout the website you will see many articles written by students here a MMS who are dedicated to the club and have put forth great effort into writing articles about various topics.
