Highly Qualified Teacher Requirements

The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) no longer requires that teachers teaching core academic classes meet a specific federal definition of "Highly Qualified." Schools shall continue to post the "right to ask" letter (attached below) and provide teacher qualifications upon request.


Notice of Non-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment Statement

The Notice of Non-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment Statement was developed by the Civil Rights Compliance Office in order to comply with certain Federal and State Civil Rights laws, rules, regulations and/or guidelines. The Equal Educational Opportunity Brochure

The Equal Educational Opportunity brochure, BOE Policy #305.10 (formerly BOE Policy #4211), informs employees, students and their parents/legal guardians of their rights and responsibilities under this BOE policy. The complaint process is described in the brochure.
