Work Study - Students are permitted to participate in a work study during their junior and senior years. Work Study is an opportunity to open up additional time during the school day to devote to a work experience - part-time job, internship, job shadowing, etc. It works similarly to early release or late arrival. Students are just required to submit their work pay stubs (60 hours per bell), complete 3 work readiness workshops, and complete the OhioMeansJobs Validation form. This a great opportunity for students who want to commit more time to work or to building their resume through a work-based learning activity.
Navigate Clermont County - There are three Navigate programs running next year. These programs are extensive, in-depth reviews of specific career fields. Students will have this added to their schedule similar to work study and will receive credit for the course.
Navigate JumpStart IT - 1st Semester - is a 16-week program designed to connect high school students with technology industry professionals in order to do a deep dive into career pathways, trends, and workforce readiness. Students who are interested in cybersecurity, software development, digital marketing, artificial intelligence, etc. would greatly benefit from this program.
