Suspend
Linear actuators
Today in class I found the parts we want for our robot so we can suspend. It's a linear actuator from go bilda and can support a lot of weight, 50 pounds. and I worked with Tabii on where we can mount them. We decided that it should be closest to where all the weight is, so right next to the arm.

Today our linear actuators arrived, i focused on putting them together while Tabii and Ava Claire worked on figuring out how to mount the arm in the middle.

Problem with the Suspending Gears
A new problem arose with the suspending. The team found a problem with one of the GoBuilda motors. The problem is that this motot was skipping and we took apart the motor to see if we could figure out the problem. While taking it appart, Ava Claire found a gross amount of grease inside of the motor, and we thought that it could be a contributing factor, so we cleaned some of it up. But that did not fix the problem, so we have come to the conclusion that the part of the motor we cannot get into, is the problem, so we need a new gear.
