Title: Sustainable behaviors in the home: Diet and consumption
Interviewee: Catherine Katz of Cuisinicity.com. She is Director of Cartography for Diet ID (link here), Chef, and Neuroscientist.
Discussing consumption patterns and how they tie into one's health and the health of the planet, how she uses her website and youtube videos to engage others, who she has collaborated with, plans for the future, etc.

Social Media content:
Composting-
Urban gardening
Recycling programs
vegetarian/ vegan diets.. Cooking/ baking
Thrifting
Mass transit/ walking
Reduction of plastic in the home
Currently toying with the formatting of each of these topics. Several approaches are possible such as 101's, debunking myths, personal history, and fun facts! All videos will tie back to the impact on the earth's status and climate change. For example, if I were to cover the topic of mass transportation I would calculate carbon emissions from a train ride vs. a car ride to the same location.
Will change layout of presentation for this section when content has been posted!

Importance of sustainable behaviors: self accountability and effects on the earth.
Smart phone apps and websites help by providing easily accessible information to users, and promoting implementation.
Tech at home also allows for e-communities to be formed= environmental stewardship online!
Mention branching out to other forms of accessible tech for conservation, citizen science projects, etc.
