Project Purpose:
When you have a question, the most common way to find an answer is to look it up on the internet. When I have a basic question, for example, about orangutans, I want to be able to type it in and immediately find the answer and not spend several minutes clicking through different links. Therefore, I am creating a website that will give basic information on each ape. Not only will you be able to learn about the apes but will have access to a map that gives information on the habitats of each ape and a story map to give readers an idea as to how we can better the ape population. Soon enough these animals will be wiped from planet earth and the purpose of this project is to start informing the public of the scary road we are going down.
Main Project: My webpage will be set up with the four apes on the cover. Each picture will lead to a link that gives information on all four apes. Each species has different sub-groups so there will be several other of links to continue giving basic information on each animal.
Subpage One: my first sub technology project will be a google map that shows where each ape can be found in the wild.
Subpage Two: my second sub technology project will be a story map explaining why each ape is endangered and what actions could be taken to better the apes lives.
