Dr. Kelly Mikenas is a botanist and professor at Elmhurst University, where she conducts research about green roofs and their effectiveness on increasing native pollinator populations! She has worked and studied at the Chicago Botanic Gardens, and is also the author of a children's activity book titled "Growing up in the City."
