Parent Teacher Conferences
JazakhAllah Khair to the parents and staff for participating in Parent Teacher Conferences. We hope you were able to connect with the teachers and if you were unable to attend or missed the opportunity, please reach out to the teachers to schedule a meeting at your own discretion.
February Bake Sale- February 20
To get our students in the Ramadan spirit, we have decided to host a bake sale centered around Ramadan! On February 20th we will be hosting our Ramadan Bake sale complete with all the favorites Ramadan has to bring such as date bread, cake balls, Ramadan cookies, manakeesh and croissants.
Pepperoni manakeesh will be available for pre-sale! Link to order is down below.

If you would like to support the bake sale! You get 1.5 volunteer service hours for every $10 contribution!
Quran Competition Ceremony- February 20
InshaAllah the Quran competition ceremony will be held on February 20th at 1:15 P.M. in the Masjid. JazakhAllah khair to all the students and parents for working so hard.
MIA Staff vs. Students Basketball Game - February 21
Join us as the staff and students go head to head in a basketball game on Friday, February 21st at 6:30 P.M. Entry fee will be $5 per student and $10 for adults. Pizza and drinks will be available for purchase.
Good Eats, Great Cause- February 23
On Sunday, February 23rd, buy a snack, dessert or coffee from Socotra, mention MIA or show this flyer and a portion of the sales will be donated to MIA. Order in person from 9 A.M. to 10 P.M. Address for Socotra is 3130 Packard Street, Ann Arbor, MI 48108. Please share with friends and family members, you will have to mention you are from the MCA/ MIA community as only the MIA/ MCA mentioned sales from February 23rd will be donated to MIA!
Coffee With The Principal- February 25
February's Coffee with the Principal event will be on Tuesday, February 25th, from 8:45 A.M. to 9:45 A.M. It will be in-person and held in the Multi-Purpose room (Masjid). Come and ask questions and hear from Sister Fayzeh and the PTO.
Casual Wednesday- February 26
Casual Wednesdays will be on February 26th for all grades! Casual Wednesday dates are NOT consecutive and are only twice a month. Please note the casual dress policy: The dress code permitted on Friday is also allowed on casual days. In addition to Friday dress guidelines, boys can wear loose-fitting jeans and a non-collar shirt. Sweatpants, joggers, and t-shirts with characters are not permitted. Girls can wear wide-legged jeans with loose shirts below the knee or under the abaya. All scarves shall be closed with pins/magnets. No ankle socks are permitted.
Ramadan Mubarak- February 28 (Tentative)
The blessed month of Ramdan is almost upon us. May this Ramadan bring you and your family endless baraka, health, sabr and prosperity. School will start at 9:00 A.M. and end at 3:30 P.M. during Ramdan. May Allah SWT make it easy for us all, strengthen our ummah and save our brothers, sisters and children.
