Every day at the beginning of the first block (mornings are important!)
Mindfulness can also be used before or after tests to help anxiety and rumination
Students can listen to the guided audio selected from the curated list (1-5 minutes of relaxing speaking and/or music), listen to their teacher recite a script, or practice mindfulness in silence
Teachers are encouraged to participate as well
All students are encouraged but not required to follow along with the guided mindfulness
Otherwise, students may sit in silence, write down daily goals, or reflect in another way (minimizing distractions to other students)
