Visit this website and scroll down to the $65 "Cap and Gown Unit" (Refer to picture on the left).
Enter your name (not your parent's name), weight, and height.
Select Spring as your graduation date.
A tassel is included in the cap and gown unit!
Caps and gowns will be delivered to Mooresville High School in the early Spring (usually around March).
Families with financial difficulties should contact their school counselor for assistance in purchasing the cap and gown unit.

Graduation Dress Code:
Graduation is a special day that requires special, more formal attire. MHS requires all graduates to follow the graduation day dress code. All graduates must wear a cap and gown from www.southernrecognition.com
Dresses or skirts must not visible below the gown.
Pants must be a dark color (ex: black, navy, dark brown)
Shirts must be button-down white or light colored and have a tie.
Shoes and Sandals must be of a dark color (ex: black, navy, dark brown)
Sandals must have a back strap.
Tennis shoes and flip-flops are not allowed.
High heels are strongly discouraged due to the field turf.
Honors are based on final weighted GPA’s. Cords will be awarded at graduation practice.
Summa Cum Laude
4.5 with highest honor
Magna Cum Laude
4.2-4.49 with great honor
Cum Laude
3.9-4.19 with honor
NC Academic Scholar
Seniors who achieve a final unweighted GPA of a 3.5+ AND meet course requirements will be distinguished as a NC Scholar. NC Scholars receive a gold tassel and a gold seal on their diploma. Link to NC Scholar course requirements.
