The chat feature lets students and teacher chat conveniently and discreetly. Chats can be initiated by a student or teacher and are sent to everyone with teacher permissions in the classroom. Students cannot chat with each other at this time.

- Once you are in a session, click to “enable chat” button in top right corner.
- Then click on the green speech bubble that pops up in bottom right corner.
- Click the student’s name that you would like to chat with. Type your message and send. Left arrow in the top left corner will send you back to whole class roster.
- The Megaphone button in the top right corner of a chat is for sending an announcement.- Use this if you want a student to see the chat immediately. It will send the message to them by muting their screen and display your message in the middle of the screen. They have to close the message before going back to their activity.
