Below are the 4 gym sections. Each class has the link for remind as well as the code for their google classroom. If you get a schedule change, it usually does not affect gym so you can reach out to me or I will notify you if you change gym sections.

Class Expectations

Class Routine

Once you enter into Zoom, you will have 2 minutes to get yourself settled and ready for class (make sure your camera is turned on!) - you are expected to be present and engaged just like when we are in school together.
The flow of class will consist of a mindfulness initiative, a warm-up activity, a mini lesson & then an explanation of assignments. Again, students should be visible on camera & mute unless asking a clarifying question relevant to the activity or lesson.
Office hours for check-ins & clarifying questions for assignments will take place the last 10-15 minutes of class.

Grading Policy

Students will be expected to complete all classwork, homework, & projects by the due date without penalty.
Students will also receive an engagement/ participation grade for live class which can consist of being on time, cameras on (within comfort level), engaging in break room conversations, chat talking prompts, & engagement in other apps like padlet & Kahoot.
If students are having technical issues, they should have their parents send an email stating so.

Just like in school, attendance is being taken - please send a message to just me in the chat to ask permission to use the restroom.
